My name is William Bateman Moore.
I was once married to Consuelo Lucy Jones. The daughter of Vernon Boyd Jones and Winnifred Rhode Bremmer. Connie and I had 9 children (some where adopted).
William Bateman Moore, 79, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Dec. 6, at Tampa General Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area seven years ago from Alaska. He retired as a Lt. Commander for the U.S. Navy as a carrier jet pilot and was a World War II Pacific Theater, Korean and Cuban crisis veteran. He worked as a clinical psychologist in Arizona and retired from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross from the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Faye; his children; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
